What type of music do you play?
We play the music that you and your guest request. In the event that you do not have a music preference, request from your guest will be taken by your entertainer whom will use thier years of experience to make additional music choices.
Is the client able to meet with you prior to their event?
Absolutely. A mutually agreeable time and location for a meeting can be arranged.
How will my entertainer dress for my event?
Music To Your Ears Mobile Entertainers always dress appropriately for the affair. Men will wear a tuxedo; females with wear a formal dress or formal blouse and skirt for weddings and other formal events. Business or business casual attire will be worn for less formal events. Your entertainer will be attired in a corporate shirt and pants for casual affairs.
Is there a minimum amount of time that an entertainer must be booked for?
There is no minimum. We will work with you to select the proper length of service for your event.
Do you bring your own equipment?
We use only top quality, well-maintained professional equipment from companies such as; Denon, Mackie and Numark. Additionally, your entertainer brings additional professional back-up equipment with them in the unlikely event of a failure of the primary system.
How much time do you usually need to set up your equipment?
Set up time generally takes 30 minutes or less. We request access to the location of set up at least one hour prior to the contracted start time for your event.
How much experience do you have with weddings?
Your entertainer has provided emcee and entertainment services for more that 275 weddings. During those previous events, valuable experience has been gained in working with the assortment of other vendors that you hire for your big day. Your entertainer will have the ability to recognize potential problems before they develop and avert them. They will also be able to adapt to changing situations that may occur and help make your day as stress free as possible.
Can your entertainers provide the music for my wedding ceremony?
Yes, provided your ceremony is taking place in the same facility as your reception. We can provide pre-recorded music selections to be played prior to your ceremony, during the arrival of your guest and during the ceremony.
Will your entertainer act as the Master of Ceremonies for my event?
Music To Your Ears Mobile Entertainers act as the emcee for your event making all necessary announcements. We additionally, work closely with your banquet manager, photographer, videographer, and wedding coordinator to ensure that all events of the evening flow smoothly.
Do your entertainers take any breaks?
We provide continuous music throughout your event.
Do I need to provide a meal for the entertainer?
No. While a meal is not required, if one is provided your entertainer will graciously accept it.
Do you charge travel expenses?
We do not charge for travel expenses in our normal service area, which include Chester, Delaware, Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in PA, Camden County in NJ, and New Castle County in DE. Rates for locations outside of this area are available by speaking directly with one of our representatives.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, U.S. Postal money orders, Visa, Master Card and Pay Pal.
I have booked your services, what happens next?
In a very short time, you will be receiving via US or E-mail, forms to help you outline your event. These forms will include such items as musical request listings, timelines, etc.
I have booked your services, how do I get in touch with you if I should have a question?
Clients whom have active contracts for up-coming performance dates may contact us by calling the office, faxing a request for information, or sending correspondence by US mail. Our organization will additionally setup an individualized email address for each client to separately forward correspondence, request for information, etc.
Can my event be extended beyond the original hours that it has been booked for?
An adjustment to the length of time listed in your contract can be made. If you are making the adjustment prior to the day of your event please contact our office and speak with a representative to help you. If the adjustment is an extension of services on the day of the event please speak directly with your entertainer. We will make every effort to accommodate your wishes for extending your event. The current rate for extension of entertainment services is $100.00/hr. billed in half hour increments.
